The Centro
Venezolano Americano del Zulia presents the 2013 ELT conference which will take
place on Saturday November 30th and Sunday December 1st at CEVAZ in
Maracaibo. The conference is sponsored by Ventesol, the United States Embassy
in Venezuela and recognized publishers in the field of education.
The
objective of this event is to encourage English professors, instructors and
modern language students to work together and reach a shared vision according to
the goals and best practices in the field of English language teaching. During
the two days we will offer simultaneous workshops and participants will be able
to elect those workshops that relate to their areas of interest.
Registration
for the CEVAZ ELT conference costs 230BsF. After November the 23rd the price is 330BsF. The participants will receive
support material, a night of entertainment maracucho style, a certificate of
participation and the chance to participate in incredible raffles given by our
sponsors.
This year’s
conference will have speakers and investigators from the languages field from
all over Venezuela and international participants. They will discuss the roll
of the 21st century with a focus on presenting material that goes
beyond the entertainment people in the ELT field.
An academic
document with conclusions will be given at the end of the conference, which
will be useful as a guide and reference for students, teachers and investigators
in the field of teaching languages.
Exhibition
Area.
In addition
to receiving academic development, the participants will enjoy an exhibition of
academic materials from different publishers and you’ll also have the chance to
get information about studying at universities and other institutions in Venezuela
and the United States.
CEVAZ ELT
conference begins on Saturday November 30th at 8:00am and ends at
6pm and will finish with a cultural activity. On Sunday activities starts at
8:00am and end at 12:30pm.
